matter. I hate that when the lows hit I'm
EXHAUSTED to the point of being bed-
ridden for a few days to a few weeks! I
barely function, I'm irritable like a toddler
who needs a nap, and I can never get
enough sleep. I feel like i havent slept in
Years when I'm in that mode. Then
eventually hypomania hits and I'm like the
damn energizer bunny.
WHAT makes us bipolar 2 people suffer from such fatigue?!! And how do I combat that?!! I can't work out during the "lows" cuz of the exhaustion and depression that accompanies the fatigue eventually. What about diet energy pills? I was thinking of trying that. I'm desperate! Vitamins and sleep do nothing. I'm sick of being grouchy from "lack of sleep" even though that's not true. I sleep too much as all bipolar 2 people do during the "lows". Any helpful things I can do or take to get my butt moving? I am waiting for my insurance to kick in so I have no meds right now. Thanks.

The answer is having the brain chemistry regulated which will only happen with medication---such as depakote or lithium.
I would not try energy drinks as they have really messed alot of people up.
