Please don't do that to your Bimmer. The black grilles look really bad on BMWs. Why would you want to make it's traditional twin-kidney grille less distinguishable by making it black instead of the chrome it came with? Also, and sorry to burst your bubble here, but black rims look cheap. No BMW deserves to look like some boy racer Civic trying to be a cool car. If you do get rims for it, don't go over 18 inches, don't get black, and don't get any stupid jagged-looking baller chrome wheels. That looks so tacky and any BMW enthusiast would look at your car and be disgusted. I do think that limo tint looks good though. I have 6% tint on my silver 740i and it makes it look more sporty. Just because you're 16, don't do stupid things to your car just so it looks different from everybody else's 3series. I'm 17 and I know better than to rice-out my once $65,000 car (by no means did I buy it brand new). I have done some small upgrades to it, but nothing intense. I added LED tail lights, the window tint, and 18-inch upgraded factory BMW rims. I plan to add a small lip spoiler, 2001-style grille, and get the black rub strips painted to match the silver body. Just do subtle things to your car to distinguish it from the crowd, especially since you will most likely try to sell it some day. Nobody will want to buy it if it looks cheap-o.
I installed remote start on my last car (also a black BMW) and just left the AC running so that when when I came back I could just start the car with the remote and the AC would already be running before I entered it. Costed me about $120 but definitely worth it (I live in Texas).
Install a good quality window tint that hhas high heat-rejection. They don't need to be necessarily DARK.
Try Huper Optik or Wincos, they'll likely cost you $400.
I have Wincos. They work very well, not only in keeping the interior cooler, but also to keep your skin from that burning feeling under the hot sun even though the AC's running!
first of all whoever gave snowie a "thumbs down" is a moron he is completely correct: a dark window tint blocks heat from coming in and it looks sweet, so i would suggest that. i have dark tint and it keeps the car cooler. parking in the shade also helps but having a reflective thing up on your windshield looks so dumb; i dont see why people do it.
So basically parking in the shade and a good window tint are your best bets to keeping a car cooler in the sun.
Best bet is to hold the unlock button to lower all the windows. After that I would turn on the car and hit "Max" on air. Wait a few minutes and get in.
Also, I suggest to get one of the those aluminum reflectors that you can slide in the wind shield. That should help keep it a degree or two cooler.
no, try to park in shade, open the sunroof a little and lower all the windows a little before you leave. They make a "solar car cooler" im not sure how well it works but you could try, it is $15 at home depot, it hangs over the rim of the window and it comes with a rubber strip to seal the window, powered by solar power and keeps the air moving and cools it down. visit this website for more info and to purchase the product: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet...

If it's not going to rain, just raise the moonroof before leaving the car by pressing on the control button.
Parking in the shade helps also

There is no way to do what you are saying, except for leaving the windows down not entirely, if safe, or moonroof open slightly open.
Not that i know of, but you can hold the unlock button for 5 seconds and it will roll down your windows and your sunroof.
No
