If the Yahoo team deleted the post from Yahoo, it'll dissapear from Google soon enough. Google caches what it sees so it doesn't have to check each web page each time. So the next time Google updates it's snapshot of what Yahoo has you'll see your stuff vanish.
Pages can stay in Google cache for more than a year. I've seen some pretty old stuff in there.
Google will remove pages from their cache if the Google crawler gets a 404 error the next time it visits that URL. Otherwise, the information stays there indefinitely.
Since this is Yahoo! Answers, there wouldn't be a normal 404 error; there would be a "This question has been deleted" page instead.
The good news is that you can make a request that Google remove this content from their cache. Here's the request form: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals?a...
Well, what you can do delete your browsing history. Basically, it will delete whatever you've viewed.
Anyway, just go to the top of your browser and click 'Tools' and then it will have a drop down menu... click on 'delete browsing history..' and then you have the option to 'delete all' or you can delete them individually.
It doesn't harm your computer but say for instance in your situation, you view a site your not suppose to and you don't want traces of it, it removes the history, which is basically everything that you've viewed previously.
As Cen says, it will be there a while.. At least until Google updates it's index..
The good thing is that Yahoo Answers are considered 'news' content and are cycled very quickly.. I suspect that it will vanish within a few days at most.. But, like most things, this is another example of never posting anything on the internet that you don't want 'everyone' to know..

Try deleting your browsing history. That has a tendency to remove those types of things.
I suggest log on to google and search someway to contact them or something so yeah then email google explaining your story!! Hope that helps!
Virtually impossible to get it off google unless you delete the page.
I think you can go into history at the top of your browser then just delete it.
you can click tools then click delete browsing history??
