Easiest way is to run it through a basic statistics package and look at skew and kurtosis statistics. Skew is a measure of symmetry in your data...if your data is left or right skewed, it means that relatively more of your data points are on one side of your distribution than the other. Kurtosis is a measure of how high or flat the peak of your data is relative to a normal distribution.
You can just google skew and kurtosis to get interpretations of those statistics...very simple stuff.
