How To reset Toshiba portege BIOS Password?
This is a hand me down from my in-laws but anyway...
All I know about it so far is that it goes directly yo enter pass word screen when you turn it on and does not let you access the BIOS or let you press f2 to select anything. Just the password screen. So I figure its the Bios password. I'm not familiar with laptops but am willing to take it apart if need be.
It says it has Windows 2000 and the next line says Windows 98 so I'm not sure how old it is. But I just wanna mess around with it any way. So Any help will do.
And PS. GOOGLE Sucks!

Update:I dont need a windows password. and it has no cd drive.
Cannot access windows because it asks for password immediately. BIOS PASSWORD is what i need to bypass.

burn this to a disk and try to boot up

pop out the battery and let it sit for 10 minutes
put the battery back in and boot up/
Toshiba Portege Bios
Do you have Toshiba reboot CD/DVD. If so, try to reset the password with it.
If not, you need some password reset software like Windows Password Recovery to help you do that job. the software can help you reset password of all windows versions.
