I just bought a new computer I needed for work and I'm having an issue I NEED to clear up. I have to run a PC check to prove that my system meets their requirementss. I was able to run it on my old computer which was XP but it is giving me issues on this one. It says "Your security settings do not allow websites to run ActiveX controls installed on your computer. This page may not be displayed correctly." I went into the security settings and enabled all the activex things and it still didn't work. Please help...I'm so horrible with computers...

NEVER allow all active-X to be allowed...that is a HUGE security risk...I repeat NEVER... Ever...allow all random active-X..it makes a PC a litreal malware magnet. Ouch.
Vista does have tighter security than your old XP did, but your new employer's software should have already compensated for the new operating system.
Contact your new boss...
And PLEASE...set your security settings back to 'default'.
There is NO reputable company (or website) that requires Internet Explorer security settings to be LOWERED in order for it to work.
Luck.
