Insane asylum research paper?
I have to write a research paper about insane asylums in the Victorian Era. I don't know what my question should be though. I was thinking how were women treated vs. men in the asylums. But I want to find something more interesting. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks so much in advance.

I dont think you would find much on that subject. Try What methods did they use to "cure" the insane. VERY interesting!! Also very sad. They used the handicapped to do testing
You mcould also do Handicapped vs insane!
A side note you can add is that around the early 1900s they were taking orphans and testing their IQs, and if they tested low they threw them in there!
Also, The LADD school in RI was just turned into a job corps. Theres TONS of pics! It was abandoned for YEARS!
