Just call an insurance company and ask for their rates. Its good you are doing research beforehand but, here is not the place to get that kind of information. Ask the insurance company directly.
I have a 2007 and my insurance isnt half bad, im assuming it wont be concidered a sports car. But it actually really depends on the location and company.
So call them and ask them for a quote. I once got a quote on an Audi TT and i was expecting a HUGE premium but it was cheaper than any other car that i got a quote for.
Another factor is how often the car is crashed or stolen.

I drove a Scirocco in HS. The insurance was sky high. It was classified as sports car. I believe it was designated a K-body type.
