It is a scam, Nikki, Yahoo would not ask you for your personal information in an E-mail like that.
It is a scam to get your personal information and/or money.
Do not respond to it.
Report it, forward it to the FTC at [email protected] and to the abuse desk of the sender's ISP.
For yahoo, report them here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya...
Choose Fraud as the reason for the violation you're reporting on.
Also, if the E-mail appears to be impersonating a bank or other company or organization, forward the message to the actual organization.
No.
This is a fake.
First of all - yahoo (or any email provider) will not ask you your password to be sent by email.
Second - it is easy to verify your account to be active: log in and read mail. That`s all.
Yes, yahoo deletes unused accounts - but only those who show no activity at all for more than an X period of time (90 days minimum i believe). And only then will they send a mail to that email, and to any alternate addresses they know - ONLY asking you to log in to your account if you wish to keep it. They will not ask password - they already know it (how else would the system know if the password is wrong or right).
delete these emails - never respond to them.
If you do - your account will be hijacked and abused to send spam from.
Yep its not true because why would a yahoo staff want to know your personal information by email you already you imformation when you created your account and they already have your password and another thing is why would they email you in a gmail account?
Looks very obvious to me that it is SPAM just Delete it.
Sorry, yet extra beneficial than in all probability, this is junk mail. there is a great deal of that now days. in case you employ the majority mail selection, that filters out maximum of it. each and every now and then nonetheless one gets into the inbox yet hardly. stable success to you
I'm 100% sure this is spam; someone is trying to steal your password and identity.
Sounds bogus - Yahoo would use their own email, and not gmail + I don't think they would ask for DOB, occupation, etc
Why would yahoo need to confirm your email? You have already confirmed it's your email, because you have access to it and read their email.
It is Spam. Delete it.
