I don't know about down, but I can't reply to any emails, even though I can read them, and my daughter hasn't been able to access hers for about the same time as you. Guess it is about time we started complaining to Yahoo
My problem started the same time as yours. That is how I found this question. So maybe my problem is your poblem. I figured my problem out.
sbcglobal.net merged with att.com and the smtp mail server changed.
If you was using anything other than "smtp.att.yahoo.com" like "smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com" as the mail server in your e-mail application....
1. Change the smtp mail server to smtp.att.yahoo.com
2. Change the Outgoing mail port to 465
3. Check "secure connection (SSL)" for the Outgoing mail server
I cant access my email today either so i guess so, but have been able to access until this morning
