I think that their characters are a more enjoyable read. Yeah, Marvel characters are more realistic, but that's not what I (personally) look for in comics.
Some people say that Superman is too powerful, and blah blah blah. But that's one of the reasons I like him. His villains have to be almost equal, or in this case, more powerful (Doomsday), to match him.
Most of my favorite characters are in DC, not to mention villains.
I still read Marvel, but DC just catches my attention more.
Marvel and it's not even close. I like DC too but their characters are extremely tedious and overpowered. Just look at Wonder Woman. Impervious to magic? WHAT?!?!? Marvel's heroes are more realistic. They make it seem as though it's a reality. It's genius! Plus, they're more creative and they allow readers to relate more. Look at Superman, how many people can say they're a bulletproof alien from another planet? Batman, how many other people can say they're a billionaire playboy with the greatest vehicles in the world? Not many. But look at Spider-Man, how many people can say they're a nerdy, has trouble talking to girls, and looking for a job at a pizza joint just to get by kind of teenager? MANY.
Marvel without a doubt! I love that marvel has their whole "universe" where the characters interact with each other all the time. You can read an Iron Man comic and Mr. Fantastic will see Iron man fighting someone or something. I also like that Marvel uses real places like New York, which makes it easier to relate to.
