I took out my mass air flow sensor to look and see if it was noticeably damaged and noticed the port in which it was stuck had fuel inside. Would this foul my maf?
So you think the hole that meters air has fuel inside it? if so your MAF may already be ruined. And in the process of removing the MAF you may have flexed the plastic housing. Those old crispy circuit boards don't like that flex and new MAF may cost more than you want to spend. What was the truck doing? Did you check the injector flow with a adjustable advance timing light. Most of those old trucks experience bad injector wiring along the passengers side inner fender so a non firing injector may be clogged or not triggering because of ECM grounding internal or wire breakage. 21 year old truck good luck
