i'm not sure what the procedure for this question is and i was wondering if anyone knew how to solve this:
You are adding a 2 in border to a bedspread that measures 84 in by 96.5 in. What dimensions will the finished spread have?

WEL KINDOF NEED A LITTLE MORE DETAIL...BUT HERE IT GOES THE BEDSPREAD IS ALREADY 84 IN BY 96.5 IF YOU HAVE TO ADD A BORDER TO THE EXSITING BED SPREAD ..BORDER-WHICH IS ALL THE WAY AROUND YOU JUST TAKE 2 INCHES OFF 84 FOR ONE SIDE.82.AND 2 INCHES OFF 82 FOR THE OTHER SIDE,80. SO THAT ONES 80. THEN FOR THE TOP AND BOTTOM.FOR THE TOP TAKE 2INCHES OFF 96.5,94.5 AND FOR THE BOTTOM TAKE OFF 2 INCHES,92.5. NOW ALL THE WAY AROUND HAS A 2 INCH BORDER. SO THE ANSWER WOULD BE 80IN BY 92.5.(WASN'T SURE IF YOU NEEDED TO EXPLAIN THE ANSWER OR IF YOU JUST WANTED THE ANSWER.HAHA!
