Minecraft Server Problem?
So I run a small 24/7 minecraft server. A few weeks ago a guy named Anonymous_Gamerz logged on saying he was from anonymous (group of crazy good hackers) he threatened the server and I banned him. Today his friend logged on and talked to me and said it was very easy to DOS a server. He just puts the ip in a program (is that a thing). He also has like 20 alternative accounts (he showed me by logging in with like 4 of them at the same time). So my question is are these people legit, or are they just fakes trying to get op or something?

They will probably be fake, but just as a precaution, ip ban him.
When he logs on the server, on the log, it will show you his ip that he has logged in from. Note it down, and there is a notepad file named "banned-ips." Just copy and paste it there.
You could also whitelist the server, but that would prevent new people from joining the server.
