Compute the area of the region enclosed by the ellipse x^2 + 2xy + 2y^2 - 4y = 8 as an integral in the variables u = x + y, v = y - 2.
I can find the Jacobian, however I am having trouble finding the bounds to integrate on. Any help please?

why do you even need to integrate ?? x² / a² + y² / b² = 1 has area [ π ab ]....
but you have a circle !!! u² + v² = 12 whose area is obvious
