I'm not really a technician but similar things happened to some of my friends. They're technicians by the way. Normally, it's either the memory or the power supply.
When it does turn on, does it actually keep running:
If it does:
The monitor may be bad or
The video card may be bad
If it does not:
You have a bad power supply or
Your processor is overheating
If your computer turns on and you don't see the loading screen before windows starts to boot, it isn't a virus or anything (well chances are very very very slim that it is), it means something hardware isn't working. If you have a different monitor try that. Or if you are comferable take the computer in to a store that sells monitor and ask them if you can hook it up to see how the monitor looks with your computer to it..and see if it boots there. If it doesn't that shows that the monitor isn't the issue and see if a new video card would fix it (which is a whole different thread of which video card you need). If that didn't fix it, i would take it into a repair shop because it goes much deeper then an average joe can fix. or would want to.

Do you hear any hard drive action?
Limewire is undesirable. undesirable, undesirable, undesirable. you are able to try yet another anti-virus like Sunbelt's Vipre, which has a completely-featured 15 day trial. If that may not run wisely then you definately've probable have been given an exceedingly intense difficulty and would call a close-by computer cleanup provider to repair it. additionally attempt to apply MalwareBytes Anti-Malware software, in case you may get thatt and Vipre to run finished scans with as much as date risk-free practices try to be waiting to scrub maximum something out of your device. If all fails you are able to look into doing an entire device restoration of your computer, which will wipe out all information you have stored on it, yet will maximum many times restoration it to its production unit state -aka speedy. in case you get carry of a few documentation with the computer this is going to inform you the thank you to try this as its distinctive for each producer.
