So I had to wipe my Dell Dimension 1100 because there was a hardware problem and completely reinstall windows.

Well, after trying to reinstall my Wireless Adapter, I get stuck. I insert the Resource CD and follow the instructions. When it gets to the point where it asks me to insert the Wireless Adapter into the USB port, I do so, and then I hit Next. It then proceeds to search for the Adapter I just inserted. It doesn't find it. The blue light on the front of it shows that it is plugged in all the way.

I also made sure it was out of the computer when I wiped and reinstalled everything. I never had a problem installing it the first time. >:[

Well I tried to install it on my Inspiron 531S with Windows 7 and it did the same thing. I'm thinking there's something wrong with the Adapter. I can't take it back to get a new one so I might just buy another one and see if that was the problem. I even tried downloading the driver for it but that didn't work. And Windows XP doesn't have Network Adapter drivers already built in from it's initial installation.. Guess I'll just have to deal with one computer for now. xD!!! Just kidding. =P
