Network connectivity Problem?
HI.. I have an AccessPoint of US Robbotic wheere DSL like is connected which is serving to 30 Wireless clients PC. There is a uplink( trunking) from Wireless Accesspoint to a D-Link Switch which, where 15 Clients are connected. The wireless Clents are working perfectly but some time the client who are connected in D-Link sometime unable to get IP address from the access point. Tell me what would be the best solution for this.

well u should first diagnose. what the reaons are for this malfunctions, 2nd if ur network runs on microsoft applications, get rid of them and install linux, much better for such networks, anhow there could be collisions on the network, u could also just switch all of the clients to wireless, or alternatively, use fixed ips for the 15 cable clients, that's probably the best with the least amount of work, but in network setting a lot of things could be set worng, once again u should diagnoe and debug ur whole system
