It's probably just stuck. Just pull with a bit of strength and the charger should come out. But to prevent the battery from draining, turn the charger off at the wall and unplug the power cord.
use some strenght when pulling it out and before u do it turn of the power because u could short circuit the ds and blow the battery up and make sure u dont break it cause then u would have to buy a new one

just do what the guy said above me and make sure you dont mess the cord up
