Just one of the many, ah, 'gems' to be found on this CD. Blegh. But Rosie, lolololol.
Oxytocin is the 'love' hormone in the body which produces feelings of attachment and care. If the pathways are not properly developed, there can be severe consequences. As a neglected and abused child, I believe the only way I was able to keep some semblance of an oxytocin pathway open within was through the love of my kitties. I just thank God Almighty that I had an animal to love on, or I might have ended up lost!! The cat I have now is my absolute best friend and sleeps with his little nose nuzzled in my neck! My pets have not only meant comfort and companionship, but I believe in the ultimate scheme of things, literally life and love savers.
It certainly won't be the most shocking, but I was pretty surprised when I found out that Aimee Mann had put one out. She's always leaned towards more morose-ish material and it was kind of an interesting fit. I heard it in passing thought and it was pretty alright.
As for Rosie, I'm with Idiot Kid on this one. Just sounds like a colossal disaster.
Twisted Sister's - "A Twisted Christmas"
Has to be the oddest christmas album ever done... Almost as odd as Pat Boone's "In a Heavy Metal Mood" CD that was done years ago... But, the Twisted Sister CD is not bad, just an odd idea...
King Diamond "No Presents For Christmas"
I don't think this is the oddest, necessarily, but it's the oddest for me ~ and I BOUGHT it last year after Christmas.... what can I say? It was in the bargain bin. Where it belonged. It's really bad.
Christina Aguilera
when i was a kid we had an album called "Jingle Cats". that's right. all christmas songs done in meows...surreal.
i don't think anyone will have anything more strange than a Rosie Christmas though!
My favorite of all time... David Bowie and Bing Crosby
Little Drummer Boy

Odd, but I like them, one from The Waltons, and one from Andy Griffith
That CD is just...a bad idea.
