Two blocks of mass m1 = 3kg and m2 = 1kb, are in contact on a frictionless floor. If force F is applie to m2 to make the 2 blocks move w/ constant acceleration a, what is the relationship b/w the the contact force Fc (on m1 by m2) and F?

Force = mass x acceleration.
The force F distribution is in direct relation to the mass accelerated.
(3+1) = 4kg. M1 is 3kg.
So Fc is 3/4 of F.
