2 of my eevees have evolved in to jolteon and sylveon. I'm trying to get another one to evolve in to umbreon, but I don't know how.
For my sylveon all I did was give my eevee a fairy move and boom it turned in to sylveon. For jolteon I just gave him a thunder stone.
But I don't exactly know what to do for my eevee to have him transform in to umbreon.
I gave him a moon stone, like I did with jolteon, but he didn't transform.
I gave him a soothe bell to hold, so he has that now.
Do I have him hold the moon stone and have him at max affection and happiness at night, or do I have him hold the soothe bell at night instead. Or is there something I'm missing?
Also, what is considered nighttime in the game? Like when does it start?

Just get him to max happiness and level him up at night. He doesn't need to be holding anything specific, but the soothe bell will help you get there faster. Moon and sun stones aren't actually used on the Espeon and Umbreon even with their respective themes. But chances are you're not quite at max happiness yet, it can take a while.
And I believe night time starts at either 8:00 or 9:00 PM in this game. Later than in the predecessors for some reason. Just see what the sky looks like while you're fighting, if it's dark it'll probably count.
