I used to have XP SP2, and I only could see 3 GB of RAM..
I`ve upgraded my system to Vista, and still I only see 3 GB of RAM..
I really have 4 GB of RAM, so how can I see that? how can I make my OS recognize that?

If you are running a 32bit OS the system will only see about 3.2gig of RAM, this is the limit of the OS. If you run a 64bit OS the system will be able to see up to 128gig of RAM this is the limit of the 64bit OS.
