Radeon 6770 1GB grahics card issue?
this is my motherboard
BIOSTAR A780L3B AM3 AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
8 gigs ram ddr3
Processor:
AMD Athlon II X4 640
windows 7 64 bit
I've installed and updated the drivers for everything. but when i play a game like skyrim or mount&blade or red orchestra it will run smooth for a few seconds then pink spots will flash on the screen and eventually it will crash to desktop. This is with the radeon 6770 1GB graphics card. any solutions to fix this?

Sounds like the card is failing. I'm surprised it would close the game and go back to the desktop afterwards though rather than simply lock up the machine. contact your card manufacturer for an RMA
Another thing to consider is that your power supply might not be providing sufficient juice to the graphics card under load. What kind of PSU do you have? A bad power supply generally takes other hardware with it when it dies. Try using a known good power supply that can handle a system like yours(500w should be sufficient) and see if the games run properly.
