delete it manually. then run ccleaner to cleand your pc, and mvregclean, to clean registry.

what mvregclean find you remove because the key is there but not the file ,folder or program.

even you reformat and it finds anything remove dont be afraid.

The specified file has an invalid security ID. Each file on an NTFS or FAT volume has a security ID assigned it. The ID assigned to the data file does not match the ID assigned to security data stream file ($SDS). There is a mismatch in Ids. Chkdsk is replacing the invalid security ID. Which operating system are you running? The error you describe usually only happens when a scheduled or forced chkdsk is run.

If you check on the web, this is indeed a problem with the file security ID headers which usually shouldn't be an issue. BUT it a lot of files suddenly have that issue a restore of a backup may be in your future.

This can be caused by a failure in the drive or a failed OS which may require a rebuild/repair.

Is the HD still running or is the system just hung?

I just gotten this error message, “Replacing invalid security id with default security id for file filename.” It has almost been 7 hours and I’m still stuck on that screen on my other computer. It annoys and worries me.

Blue screen is normally hardware or software issue, check all cabling inside and out, check memory. Did you try last known configure? You could try a repair install of windows if all of the above does not work, you wont lose data but you will need to update windows and adjust some settings etc. If you can repost with the error code you get on blue screen you maybe able to recieve more help, again if the above doesnt work.
