Yesterday I posted a question, but I guess it didnt post. I am looking for a similar CHEAPER rope I can use to make survival bracelets. Anyone know of any (brands or name) that I can look for and use for this purpose? Thank you.

If you're not using paracord then you're not making survival bracelets. The reason why paracord is used is because it is strong (550 pound capacity), durable, yet relatively thin and flexible. Choose something else and you have a nice, braided bracelet, but not a survival bracelet.
Paracord can be ordered on-line in 1000 foot spools for around $45 each, which comes out to less than a nickle a foot. You can buy 100-foot hanks of paracord for around $8 each. A typical survival bracelet uses 8 to 10 feet of cord, under 50-cents worth of Paracord at the full spool price and 80 cents if bought by the 100-foot hank.

the purpose of those bracelets is to have some cordage handy in case of an emergency. Using cheap string renders it nearly useless.
