Hi, now please don't go telling me that "Pirating is bad" and "This is illegal".
I already bought the game. Three times, to be exact.
I bought the Sims 3 the day it came out, because I was a longtime fan. Ever since 2009, I lost my game once a year, and bought another copy. I lost the 2012 copy near the end of my school year, and I looked everywhere. I can't find it! I have the case it came in, but no CD.
On my PC, I downloaded the NRASS Mod and it worked without a cinch. I used my USB to move the mod to my Mac, and I changed the original files so when I click the icon, it uses the TS3.exe thing and skips the launcher. I thought it was working until I got to the loaded households, and it said "Please insert the Sims 3 Pets before continuing", with the options of Retrying and Quitting.
I am now hearing of these things called "cracks"? I used mods on my PC, never a crack. Is it the same? Also, my mod is in Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages. I always downloaded the mods on my PC, with no problem, so I'm pretty sure I got that part right.
Any idea of what I could be doing wrong?
Update:Do you mean Karma? And I don't think it is. I had this Mac since 2008, and it never had a single problem with hardware, crashing, viruses, etc. I got the P.C. last September, and it crashed in June.

I was looking for this as well and found a trusted site. gamesfortheworld is a sims supporter, so try them. When you download from them they usually come with instructions and answer any questions you might have. This is where it's found:

I haven't downloaded it as yet but good luck and make sure when you replace the TS3.exe file you save the original on your mac. I did this and it worked for the sims medieval.
I'm having the equal challenge on my macbook pro computing device. I referred to as client help the day prior to this and was once on the mobile for good over and hour and often all i bought is "that is particularly weird i do not know what it can be doing that" i have each other sims expansion on my laptop and that is the one one i've ever had a difficulty like this with. They instructed me to uninstall and reinstall which i did a number of times, wager what? Did not work. I even have been continuously checking boards for options, one that style of labored for relatively longer than ordinary was once taking away all my custom content material. Appears like we're simply going to ought to wait unless they fix this obstacle and create a new patch. Except then, do not create or do any activity close a horse -_____-'
