Ok. After reading and reading and reading.... apparently this error is quite common AND related to issues of media choice and how dirty the burner drive is.
So, here is what you do. Get a DVD drive lens cleaner. Use it. And try different a different brand of disc. Yes, it *COULD* be something else... it could be the amount of data you are trying to burn to the disc... it could be the speed you are burning at that is causing the failure. At any rate, cleaning your drive after every 20 hours of use is recommended by EVERY optical drive manufacturer. No Joke.
Clean your drive. Try different media. Try a slower speed. If all THAT fails, you should try different burning software. And if THAT fails, you need a new optical drive.

@Terrell: Load PC Booster? You've got to be kidding. I can tell you right now, with almost absolute certainty, that you're not a Microsoft developer. What you're doing is trying to get people to download this crap. The error, according to Power2Go, is from a defect in the reader. Now, that "defect" could be a dirty lens.
You sound like a salesman or a con artist. I think I'm going to go with the Power2Go website, and start there with the solution.
This is a good question, and one that has been the source of confusion for me for quite a while.
