I'm trying to find a song from the 80s/90s, that starts off with "na na na, na nana, nanananananana". It's probably a pop or new wave song, but it could also be a hip-hop song from the early 90s. Since unfortunately I can't remember any other lyrics, I can't really place what genre it is, but it's definitely an 80s/90s song. The number of "na's" I've typed are exactly how the song goes, not just typed randomly, so hopefully somebody might remember the song while reading them. I'm almost positive that the "na's" in the intro are sung a-capella, and then the beat starts after while the "na's" continue. Also, I don't think the song title contains any "na's".
Here is a list of songs I've already checked out which are NOT the song I'm looking for:
- Batman theme
- The Look - Roxette
- Centerfold - J. Geils Band
- Na Na Na - Cozy Powell
- Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye - Steam
- Livin', Touchin', Squeezin' - Journey
- Hotstepper - Ini Kamoze
- Land of 1000 Dances - Cannibal & The Headhunters
- Rich Girl - Gwen Stefani
- So What - P!nk
- The Na Na Song - Sheryl Crow
- Na Na Na - My Chemical Romance
- Tom's Diner - Suzanne Vega
- Dyslexic Heart - Paul Westerberg
- Hey Jude - The Beatles
This song has been stuck in my head for weeks, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Atualizada:Unfortunately most of the answers I got were already on the list I provided with songs which are not the one, but I did, however check out the new suggestions, but none of them match the song I'm looking for.
