Christmas exam... what grade do i need to pass?
I already had two exams;
First exam 10% achieved 5%
Second exam 30% achieved 4%
So the Christmas exam is only worth 60%. What grade do I need to achieve in the Christmas exam to pass?
Update:40% is a pass

If a passing grade is a 60, then here's how you figure out what grade you'd need on the exam.
5 * 0.10 + 4 * 0.30 + x * 0.60 = 60
x = (60 - 5 * 0.10 - 4 * 0.30) / 0.60 = 97.2
You need to earn 98% or higher on your final to pass the class.
