i got 5.06 as my answer.
not sure if its right.
*=multiply
/=divide.
please help.
also.
tell whether there is a whole number x thatll make the statement true.if so find the value of x.
2x+4=4

4+x=3x.

setup as
2x = 4 - 4, subtracting 4 from each side to get x alone
2x = 0 ,
x = 0/2, divide each side by two
x = 0....
4 + x = 3x, of for this one get all the x's on one side.
4 = 3x - x
4 = (3-1)x, then we are going to pull out the x's
4/ (3-1) = x , divide by the scalars
4/2 = x , simplify
x = 2.
