Transferring from a catholic school to a public school...?
I go to a Catholic middle school in Florida. Now, i have to transfer to a public school. I'm currently in 8th grade going to HS...Some sites say that i need a student i.d. in order to enroll to a public school(but i don't have one). Also, do i have to take the FCAT...The reason i ask is because my catholic schools dont use FCAT, rather thay use this test called the HSPT. Please help, it's urgent! Thank You :D

Your new school will give you a student ID. Your parents (or you) should call up the public school and ask them these questions. That will get you a straight answer for your specific situation.
I did the same thing. I did not need an I.D. I took HSAP(I think it was called that). Didn't affect me. Should be fine, but it can be different in other parts of the country.
