relies upon on there courting,a being concerned loving relations with sturdy morals, there can continuously be a kiss and a hug,in basic terms sitting on his lap, nicely there a time even as the daughter pulls away, typically 14 or 15, is a lot previous adequate to give up sitting on dads lap..
I don't think there is anything wrong with kissing on the lips... as long as it's not a "making out" kiss... a peck on the lips isn't sexual abuse, but it's affection....
My entire famliy is close and we all kiss on the lips.. we aren't even italian!
5 years old after that... its a no-no ....I'm sorry it has to be that way because some fathers are great dads and they love their kids and want to show their kids love by kissing them... but then you have people who were probably done wrong as a child and would probably look at your husband giving his daughter an innocent kiss and think "somethings wrong"when its nothing wrong

It is different for different A- countries, and B- cultures!
Are you asking from an American standpoint? Because a lot of different cultures and countries have different view points on subjects like this.
My opinion- is that as long as a father and a daughter feel comfortable with it, then that is between them! whether is be 7 years old or 27!

I'm thinking beyond the age of five it should not be happening. Anything past 9 or 10 is a definate no from me.

when the daughter tells him to. why stop giving signs of affection?
this is really not about morals, but about communicating and responding to another
my father never did, actually he never shows any kind of affection to me.
I guess he sometimes gives me hug and kiss on the forehead when im sleeping.
but; I would say after five years of age that should stop, and a peck on the forehead would work!
Honestly.. I dont know.
I've NEVER kissed my dad on the lips, nor my mom. I've always thought of it as a thing a women and man share when they're in love.
