Note: Most people prefer watching the subbed version, and unless reading subtitles just isn't you're thing, you'll probably enjoy the subbed version more than either of the dubs, especially since both dubs are hundreds of episodes behind the japanese version. However, if you're just a dubbed kind of guy, here's a breakdown of the two dubbed versions:

4Kids Dub: produced for a younger audience; censors guns, blood, cursing, sometimes even entire "inappropriate" scenes (which leads to condensation of episodes and perhaps plot confusion); characters' voices are often described as childish, annoying, and possibly mismatched; episodes extend to episode 104 (after which it was canceled)

Funimation Dub: online version is uncensored, so all aesthetic elements of the raw japanese version are present; characters' voices possess a more mature aura to them than in the 4kids version, though they still digress from the original; personalities seem more appropriately matched to characters (due to better voice casting); episodes currently extend to 116 (more are on the way).
