Chris Cornell did an Unplugged show in Sweden. Mostly Audioslave songs though. By the way, besides Pearl Jam, Soundgarden was the softest out of Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and PJ lol
when I saw soundgarden in 1994 they were so loud they blew up the PA definitely the loudest band I have ever seen ( and I seen loads). Dont think MTV unplugged was where they wanted to be.
if i was in a great band i wouldnt want to be on mtv at all, sure id watch them if they went on but they could just do their own unplugged album with mtv
I don't think they had enough preformable acoustic songs, if they did Jesus Christ Pose, or Outshined acousticly, it wouldn't go over so well. But it'd be cool if they did some like...
I would have loved it, I'm sure...I think they would have been the most interesting band out of Seattle to do one, if they had. There were quite a few tracks in their catalog that would have translated nicely if they went in the opposite direction that Nirvana did, and didn't slow them way down.

Fell On Black Days
Blow Up The Outside World
Pretty Noose (Maybe)
The Day I Tried To Live
Burden In My Hand
Black Hole Sun
MTV sucks. Soundgarden is okay without it.
