I heard from the web that a computer's part will fail after 5 years. The order of the 'failure' is as follow: fans, CPU, Hard drive (I may be wrong). Does anybody knows why?
Like any electro-mechanical device they will not last forever and although most computers can last a lot longer than 5 years it's not unommon for parts to fail after a year or so due to some defect or abuse.
The same with any device, usually the more you pay the better components you usually get and the longer they will last.

Yes. Hard drives are mechanical. That means they have moving parts and they can and do fail because they wear out.
Normally they last longer than 4 years but it's certainly not unheard of that after 4 years yours has died.
This is why people always keep telling noobs to back up their sh!t.
Things are built to be broke, that way you have to replace them.
