Ok i was just on my computer and a box came up and said Windows has detected an IP address conflict then it says below another computer has the same IP address as this computer please contact your administrator for resolving this issue. Ok I have no idea what is going on please answer only if you understand what im talking about or had this issue too. Please do not scare me by saying its a hacker...Is it a hacker?My dad has 2 other computers in the house what do i do??? I do play online games like Battlfield 2 but thats i asked my dad and he said it could just be his computer effecting my IP address could it possably be a hacker or anything like that please answer!!!!

And yes, this is a common problem.
The issue is just want the message says...something on your network is trying to use an IP address that's already been assigned to another device.
I'm going to assume, based on the multiple computers, that you have a router connected to your internet modem. The router should be providing addresses to your devices.
The problem is probably that one of your devices has a fixed IP address configured in, and the router has already assigned that address to something else. That's why you see the message.
The easiest way to fix this is to look at the network settings for each computer and make sure they are using DHCP, which will help assigned a unique address to each computer. Then reboot everything.
Turn off your router for 3 minutes and turn it back on. All of the computers in your home network will receive a new ip address fixing this problem.
There might have been an error when the ip address for your computer was assigned.
