Do you sew, knit or crochet?
How about bookmarks - find pictures or photos that the people would like - animals, hearts, sports, cars, pictures of you and them - it can be a few small pics or just one, glue it to construction paper - space them so you can cut them after they are laminated, then take them to Staples and get them laminated. You can put a bunch in one sheet to laminate, then cut them. After hole-punch the top and put a ribbon or twine of some kind through the hole.
Get some empty jars and make 'love jars' out of them - fill them with origami hearts, flowers and slips of paper with notes of appreciation written on them or 'I love you' written in different languages (on the back let them know which language it is).

Decorate empty jars to use as pen/pencil holders
or decorate empty soup cans - take the label off and wrap them in fabric or colored paper and decorate them.
How about 'no bake' cookies? You could do them at at friend's house as a day long project. Store them in ziplock bags
Chocolate

There are no-bake peanut butter cookie recipes at allrecipes.com
Or this easy one:
"Reindeer Droppings"
1cup chocolate chips
1cup butterscotch OR peanut butter chips
1.5 cups peanuts (salted or unsalted is fine)
1.5 cups chow mein noodles
Melt the chips together, then stir into the peanuts/noodles mix until everything is evenly coated. Drop into "plops" on waxed paper, and let harden. SO EASY!!! It should make approx. 2 dozen if you make them small, 1-1.5 if they are larger.
Hmmm. This is hard. Maybe you can ask your mum to help you bake something? or ask her to bake something for you? Then you could put a few cookies in a little baggie and write them a nice card.
Things you can do with things around the house:
Look for little crafty things...things like pipe cleaners, pom pom balls, popsicle sticks, paint, canvas, construction paper, crayons, pencils, etc. See what you can do with those.
