I posted a question on yahoo answers, and then they deleted it? why? they send me email to follow guidelines? i did followed. please help. i got my 10 pointers reducted also.
You got violation notice email & 10 points deducted from your account...! You should follow the rules and regulations in the site while posting question and answer..! If Yahoo! receives abuse report against your content..! Some times they will remove your content..! Yahoo! dont have time to check all the abuse reports..! Yahoo! believes the people who give correct report..! If you still feels that your content has been reported wrongly...!
Then ask appeal to Yahoo!.... The violation notice email contains URL to appeal the decision..! Tell them that your content has reported wrongly...! Yahoo! will surely review your appeal and then they will reinstate your content ( If your content does not contains any violation)...! Before appealing the decision... Please read the community guideliness ones and then make a decison about appealing..!
2 or more reports is enough to take action against the reported content... Some times Trolls also will do like this with the help of multiple accounts..!
Once you won the appeal.... Then the people who gave absue reports against you will lose the influence in reporting in future..!
Please read the link below to know about Community guideliness
It was deleted because someone clicked on the Report link under the question. That does not mean that you broke a rule. It means that one person thinks you did. When you get the email, click on the blue link (Customer Care) to appeal.
2 types of questions are quick to get reported ..... questions about politics where you are really ranting rather than asking a true question (you already know the answer to your question) and homework questions ( even tho homework questions are generally allowed) since many users get mad that you are not doing your own homework.

Have a nice day :)
Without knowing exactly what the question was, it's impossible for us to say.
Did you get a violation email? If so, what did it say?
Did the question expire with no answers? If so, Y!A deleted it (they don't send emails for this scenario).
Did the question end the 'in voting' process with "No Best Answer" as the winner? If so, Y!A deleted it (again, no email is sent).
Y!A also deletes questions if the Best Answer is reported and deleted.
:o)
