Ok so i am a digital artist and id like to make some cash selling t-shirts and whatnot. Cafepress and Zazzle only give you $10 of whatever you sell and the prices for there items are already a tid bit pricey... im not willing to put THAT much work into only getting 10%.. >.> lame..and spreadshirt has TERRIBLE reviews from both buyers and sellers..
I do have a small following/fans and tis slowly growing so i figure now is a good time to find the right place to start.. so my question is....are there any other sites that give a higher percentage and/or are preferable? Does anyone have experience with any better sites? O_o i really enjoy the fact that zazzle has so many items to choose from.. pins and mugs and so on and so forth..

With Zazzle you get to set your own percentage and make what you want as long as it's over 10%, 10% is the smallest you're allowed to set your royalty at. At Zazzle you're free to set your royalty where you want it to be, whether it's 15%, 25%, 35%, 40%... etc all the way up to 99%. Of course, you want to keep your prices reasonable. Most people on Zazzle have their royalties set at 10%-35%.
I earn my living with Zazzle, so do many other Zazzlers. Some regular people make more income than they would at a high paying job. So, I would highly recommend using it. Zazzle is pricey, but it's pricey because they have quality products that don't look cheap and just thrown together to make a profit. They partner with very respectable and high quality companies to provide the best.
I don't have much experience with CafePress. I find that site hard to use. They also charge a fee to create a store. You also cannot set your royalty where you want it to be. With CafePress they only give you 10%.
I don't have any experience with Spreadshirt, so I don't know what to tell you about that site.
In my opinion, Zazzle is far better than any of them because it's expanding and it's a company that you can really grow with, trust and provide a steady income for yourself. Zazzle will definitely provide for you if you're willing to work at it and stick with it.
My Zazzle shop is zazzle.com/nyxxie and zazzle.com/youreinvited if you want to check out my stores.
Good luck on your decision.
Zazzle Vs Cafepress
I would choose CafePress as their customer service cannot be beat. They are super helpful in making sure your order is exactly what you want and even if you get an order you are not 100% satisfied with, they won't make you send it back but just print them again.
I agree with Nyxxie. I make a living off of Zazzle and it is my full-time job. Don't be so put off by the royalties. Do you know you can also earn a volume bonus for products you sell?
You could try to go somewhere else other than Zazzle, but you're probably not going to get the quality they offer.. and that will make your fans unhappy.
