Zoom G2.1nu VS Boss ME-25/50 Vs Digitech RP355 Vs Vox Tonelab ST?
Hi which one is better for PLAYING THROUGH AN AMP? which one sounds least digital and has better tones? Wont be using these for live performances, just practice. I play many kinds of style from Blues to Rock. Give feedback with explanations please not just stating preferences. if possible, a detailed comparison between the 4 would be nice (pros cons?). Unfortunately this is strictly a matter of taste. You will have to try them all in order to decide which YOU like best. I own the zoom and it is great for practicing. It has useable sounds and several functional drum patterns and allows you to route an mp3 player through the unit. I have also used the tonelab and found it to be quite effective too. The BOSS is a solid unit with good sounds and features. I was not real impressed with the Digitech but I did not have the opportunity to actually demo it myself. I am sorry I could ne provide a better answer here. There are plenty of online reviews for all of these units. Guitar player magazine has reveiwed them in a shootout comparison (not sure if they were the exact same models you have listed here) Look them up online at Guitar Player.com
