k..... if you have (X) amount of a liquid at (Y) degrees(temp). how much of the same liquid of (Z) degrees do i need to make it (T) degrees? feel free to insert any numbers you think will best to show me how to do it. ..... any equations with be great!

Principle is : Heat Given = Heat Taken
If S is the specific heat of the liquid,
and (M) amount of same liquid of (Z) degrees mixed with (X) amount of the liquid at (Y) degrees makes the mixture at (T) degrees, we have
M x S x (Z -- T) = X x S x (T -- Y)
Whence amount required M = (T -- Y) / (Z -- T) ANSWER
