i honestly couldnt figure it out and factoring problems is my favorite.but heres a really good site telling you step by step how to slide and divide! i hope you figure it out :)ps all the other answers given are not right obviously. youre not looking for a single number.youll be looking for something like this__ (x +/- __) (x +/- __)or its not solvable and you will have to use the quadratic equation to figure it out and the answer will look something like this: x=+/-__sorry i couldnt help more!!ok so i saw where u added onto your question.and i did that for your problem.. and it comes out tox^2 -5x-288but you cant factor that,so then you cant divide it all by 12.so this must be unfactorable!!
