the formula k=C+273 gives the temperature in Kelvins (K) for a given temperature in degrees celsius. what is the temperature in Kelvins when the temperature is 55 degrees Celsius ?
Update:I got the answer before but I just want to double check if im right....

Just plug 55 in for C
k = C + 273
k = 55 + 273 = 328 Kelvin
To make this a little bit easier for you, lets rewrite the formula as
Kelvin = Celsius + 273
So we put 55 in for Celsius and get
Kelvin = 55 + 273
Kelvin = 328
So, 55 degrees Celsius = 328 Kelvins
Substitute 'C = 55' in:
K = (55) + 273
K = 328
