Ive Been using the prepaid card like 3 times twice at amazon and one time in a circle k gas pump "i wanted to know if it worked on general places and not only online usage" so after the purchase of the gas ive went to a smoke shop and wanted to buy some things. and it wouldn't buy it..so i when back online and wanted to buy something else so i did and it still wouldn't let me buy it..why is this happening?

Check the balance on the card. When you used it at the pump the computer put a hold on the card. That is how all credit cards are handled on the pump. It reserves a preset amount (ranges from $35 to $175) and then you pump against this hold amount. Once the transaction is completed the actual charge is completed but the hold can stay on for up to 72 hours and that can mean your card is now empty until that money is released back to the card. Nothing the gas station can do about this. This is happening between the credit card server and your credit card issuer. Call the 1-800 on the card and ask when the "hold" will be released.
You probably didn't have any cash on it. The credit card company could also have a maximum per day usage.
