I'm glad you said watch dog and not guard dog because they need to be trained to actually bite.

They are all nice dog breeds that you listed, and extremely powerful so it's important to be firm.

To be honest mate all the dogs you listen suit your traits, i would go with the Cane Corso or Argentino.

goofy question dude.. but i'll bite. glad your not planning on fighting.. cause these are not game dogs. these are gaurdian breeds. Probably interested for ego masculinating reasons. Such list are no measure of a particular dogs working aptitude. Ive seen examples in all of your listings that fit the bill as professional working dogs.. Ive also seen others that are fear biters, lazy, easily distracted. Breed doesnt dictatate workability, but rather is a starting point for functional needs of the handler. YOu left out some VERY workable dogs: Giant Schnauzer, Presa/Dogo Canario, Belgium Malinio, Dutch Shepard, Belgium Tervuren, and Caucasian Ovcharka amoung many others....BTW, your 3rd pick..Dogo Argentina is excellent for hunting applications, but not gaurd/bite/protection work. cane corso is the best! good family dogs, can run for hours without getting tired and they love kids! remember a good guard dog is not the one that attacks but the one that understands when its family is really in trouble! most dogs will start a fight or attack another dog for fun the cane corso will never start a fight with another dog or attack a human if is socialised well! that is your kind of dog!
