I have a 1998 Dodge Caravan that I haven't used since i got my new van a few months ago. I finally sold the Dodge but now I can't get into it since the battery is dead, so the beeper won't work. I have also tried to use the key in every handle on the car but it won't turn in any of them. Does anyone know another way to get into the van, or why the key won't get me in? Thanks!
Update:If I can't get into the car, I can't pop the hood to hook-up jumper cables, so that does me no good.

Are you using the right set of keys??
1998 dodge caravans used a single key for the ignition and the door locks, if the key you are using wont even turn any of the door locks then its either the wrong key or the key itself has been damaged...
You have to either call a locksmith or you can purchase a slim jim and slide it down beside the drivers door window and with some luck pop the lock button up...
or
You can jack the front of the van up, slide under and then remove the stone shield from under the bumper (if it has one) and then reach up and locate the hood release and use a pair of plyers or a screw driver and open the hood latch.
Connect jumper cables from new van's battery to old van's battery. That might do it.
Sounds like you have the wrong key.
If all else fails, call a locksmith to get in.
find a car theft and pay him to open it for you / they don't need keys -slimjim is the tool you need
