I don't want anybody calling me out, don't judge haha so here it goes.... I got a 2006 acura tl for graduation. It was quite a shocker and yes i love it, but I commute to school and the premium gas can be quite a killer, and I kinda want a manual transmission. So I am currently debating on selling my car/trading it in in order to get a manual and better gas milage. I've been looking into different cars, Im a big fan of gti/r32 but they take premium gas as well... and people always **** on vw reliability... g35's are sick, evo, sit. I mean most of the ones I named take premium gas but I am really wanting a stick. I just wanted to get some input on if it is stupid or not and what cars to look into. I am 18 and I'm into cars and plan on customizing em... not ricer! HAHA, so if anybody has input feel free thanks. BTW i live in the northeast so that maybe another factor.

Dude when you customize Japanese cars that makes them even more ricer, but anyway that's a tough decision. If it helps think of driving in a lot of traffic with a manual transmission, it might get annoying. If you think you could handle that, then go for the manual and good luck!
I would suggest in getting a 4 Banger. A civic might be too slow unless your willing to mod it. I love Honda accords bcuz the engine is way better than a civic and its still pretty easy on gas. You could also get a nice Toyota or scion
