yesterday i was checking my car to see what the problem was with it, causing it to occasionally stall out and lose oil fast, with none or hardly any smoke coming out the exhaust and no leaks under to car.
i have a new head and upper end, battery, alternator, and a couple new plugs and belt
its a 4 cylinder fiero, automatic
and when we looked in the air filter box, we saw oil down at the bottom of it
also when we checked the spark plugs they were all gold, but at the bottom of the 3rd plug (i believe it was) their was oil on it
what is going on or happening
please dont tell me its something major

It's something major. Look up "compression test" You haven't done enough trouble shooting just yet.
With the oil in the air system it seems to me that your block is getting too much pressure. This means replace the PCV (positive crankcase vent) on the air system. The small amount of oil or wet look on the 3rd plug is just miss-leading, it probably just had not sparked yet. If the PCV not working properly it is pushing too much pressure into your block, this will blow oil up into the air duct box.
Since a repair shop did major engine work on your vehicle, they would be the first place I'd ask about the problem. Will they claim their repair isn't causing this problem? That's what you need to educate yourself about. Is engine oil leaking down the valve seals into the cylinders? Change your Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve and make sure the PCV system is working before returning to the repair shop.
If your plugs go through your valve covers then check the seat seals that go around the spark plug holes. If not....... ouch.
