Ok I have a 2001 VW Jetta 2.5 and for the life of me I can't get this problem fixed. I haven't had my vehicle serviced in awhile and the last time I did have is serviced it was for normal problems (Brakes, Oil Pan Gasket....etc).
My problem now is that when I press my Brakes too early (between 10+ RPMs) my car stalls and my engine shuts off and my battery light cuts on. The only quick fix is to shut the car off and cut it back on. At times my engine does idle up and down after I come to a halt or immediate start.
I've been told by people being skeptical and not looking its the Alternatnator, Spark Plugs or the Cars Computer.
I'm not very good with cars this is my first but i need help if anyone can a big thank you.

Clean and service IAC with throttlebody cleaner and do a smoke test and look for vacuum leaks. But Im confused in 2001 jettas they only came with 1.8T AWW, AWD block, 1.9TDI ALH block, 2.0 AEG, AVH, AZG block and the 2.8 AFP block. was this car directly imported Europe?
The late service makes no difference. The alternator, spark plugs and computer make no difference.
I'm not sure if your car has a vacuum booster or not but I think you have a vacuum leak be it a brake booster or a hose off you have a vacuum leak.
i might initiate with marvel absorbers or struts, looking on your automobile. in the experience that your automobile has better than 60-seventy 5,000 miles this could be a stable beginning element. Shocks and strut overall performance starts to pass to pot after this mileage.
